Coffee World Pop-up
These were a series of fun projects I was fortunate to produce art direct, as well as create some installations myself. The company’s goal was to create a modern and playful series of artwork for an exhibit that educates people on the wonderful world of coffee.
Huyen Dinh was recruited for her playful typography and her love of pink. We wanted to pick something that would be bright and inviting to engage customers as they walked by the pop up that was located inside a major mall in Southern California. We chose to use playful coffee puns based on popular culture.
The murals were also leveraged as a background for product photography and social media marketing.
“I love bringing creatives together to accomplish a bigger vision.”
Michael aka Mr. Cookie
This last project shared here was developed for the coffee tasting room. This was to be more of a sophisticated and playful space. Since the walls and floor were dominant with yellow and black we chose to make the installation a simple black and white pattern spray painted by graffiti artist Mouserawk which would go behind the large interactive cup.
The next two art projects were created and executed by Mr. Cookie.
Both of these next two projects were side by side in a large playroom with a ball pit, we wanted to surround the space with fun and playful energy for the children. The top one was a large character sign and logo that we paired with side by side floating hand painted skate decks. The second was a massive 30 foot mural with a classic Mr. Cookie character.
